CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, we embrace nature and the importance of limiting our carbon footprint on the planet. We are happy to share with you our hotel's Sustainability Management Plan and Environmental Policy which explores our impact on the local environment and biodiversity around us, as well as the local communities. We hope to raise awareness and inspire change for all stakeholders, from our Ambassadors to our guests. Together, we are committed to leading the journey towards a greener and more sustainable future in the hospitality industry.

Reusable Phokeethra Water Bottles
We have 100% eliminated single use plastic from our resort’s operation. One of the biggest contributors to plastic waste and pollution in the world is plastic water bottles. Our re-usable Phokeethra water bottles can be found in our boutique shop within the resort’s lobby.
Eau De Vivre Sofitel Gin
Distilled within the town of Krabi, and made from 100% local ingredients featuring authentic Krabi botanicals, this is the only beverage offered with zero carbon air miles. Eau de Vivre, Sofitel Gin can be found at the Boutique Shop.
Phokeethra Nursery
We proudly care about the preservation and conservation of our surrounding natural environment. We make our own organic fertilizer for the resort's gardens. We’ve created our own herb and spice garden at the Phokeethra Nursery, where you can also you can sit and relax immersed in nature, or explore our very own butterfly garden.
Wildlife Conservation
We only encourage sustainable tourism practices, promoting wildlife sanctuaries and conservation programs that adhere to the highest ethical standards. We invite you to consult with our own activity concierge team who will be able to recommend the perfect activities and places to visit that truly embrace the best wildlife conservation practices.
Supporting Local Artisans
Working closely with partners within the community is a key part of our resort’s corporate social responsibility program. We support local Thai businesses and encourage the work and craftsmanship of local Thai artisans, showcasing their products in our boutique shop.
Energy and Water Saving
We are committed to reducing as much as possible our impact on the planet, as we strive towards self sufficiency.We invite you to join us in this effort by opting to reuse your bed linen & towels for one night. Each small action helps to reduce the impact on the local natural environment.
Beach Cleaning
We are passionate about protecting the environment and the planet and actively invest in innovative technology and machinery help make a difference any way we can. One such example is our Beach Cleaning machinery which when in operation collects all the plastic and garbage pollution washed up and dumped along the shoreline.
