What to do in Krabi town?
The daily life of southern Thailand is one of the main attractions of visiting quiet Krabi town. Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra is located not far from the town, and we arrange half-day excursions using a comfortable van.
You can visit Khao Khanap Nam, the mountainous symbol of the town and the most photographed site in the province. There are magnificent caves here, and the Krabi River. A walk alongside the Krabi River and a visit to Wat Kaew Korawaram, a Buddhist temple on a hill overlooking Krabi downtown, are favorite local activities.

Then there is the Emerald Pool, located in the Thung Teao Forest National Park. The waters of this pool are wonderfully warm and make for great picture opportunities. The Krabi Hot Springs is another must-see trip to Krabi, where you can relax in the hot tubs fed by water in a stream emerging directly from the jungle.
As for shopping in Krabi, the town offers several choices that include walking streets, a night market, and shops selling all kinds of local handicrafts. At night there are beach clubs and music bars aplenty.
